Of course, I could've gone the more feminine route, dressing her in something that showcases more of her contrasting body, but... Honestly, knowing Banjo's rural background, I don't think she'd be particularly influenced by trends. She still has a strong build thanks to her family's genes, she's still simple of heart, and she cares a lot about her little sister (or brother?) and her friends. Call me wrong if you will, that's just the impression I have!
Whether he's a boy or she's a girl, I think Banjo would look like his/her mom the most – a rich brown fur, strong body, kind blue eyes, and a smile that just doesn't quit. Banjo's dad, on the other hand, would be a tiny bit shorter, plumper, darker, and a little hairier (since Banjo has relatively short fur)... but still a proud father and a role model for his son/daughter.
Banjo's sister, Tooty, had more golden fur, but that's something she lost as she grew up... like many kids do. Banjo also had slightly golden fur as a very young age!

She's probably fluffier than M!Banjo is, let's face it. And yeah, I could see her still being called Banjo. A bit like Margo/Margot/Margaux (though less old fashioned)!

I, uh... umm.... Would. Haha. If nothing else the cuddles would still be incredible <3 I think Banjo is a gender neutral name too, even if I've only ever associated it with a male before.
