Behind the scenes of Funfair: 2016, pages 14 & 15

"Wait, is that... Banjo?!"
-BATTLE 1... FIGHT!-
You can probably tell that Mr. Bear Fighter (unlicensed Banjo in a skimpy leather belt outfit) has an outfit very similar to the Banjo in Conker's nightmare (cw: a little bit scary). So, clearly Conker's nightmare isn't just taking place in his head, it's also taking away something from the arcade he's in...
So, chains were pretty much meant to be a great focus in this part, even in the prototype. As much as I like this prototype's potential, I will say I like the nightmare a lot more, and I will fight to the death on this hill!! I'm still very, very happy with the way I drew chains and action in part 3, it took so much patience to draw every single ring... I'll be the first to bash my own style from years ago, but I'll say that even today, the nightmare scenes look fucking good. Still suffers from pacing, but I still like it.
... Err, anyway. Unlike the final version where it's pretty much all violence until Conker retakes control of himself, this prototype is mostly just another sexy dream sequence. Banjo in the game is about to show that crocodile spartan who's got the schlongus maximus.

I looked it up and can see what you mean!

They're kinda reminiscent of King of Dragons. That game had some skimpy dragons like you wouldn't believe!

Agreed

GOSH that under the butt show on the first page... also yeah, these armor designs are great!

Really, any codpiece with a chain ring attached is off to a pretty good start~

The clothing/armor designs are absolutely top-tier~!
