🕑 Added 2023-10-26 21:00:01 +0000 UTCPromised this for a while, but kept pushing it off, thinking that I would wait until it's "finished".
Eventually I realized this is futile. The studio is an evolving thing, and there's nothing inherently 'worse' about sharing it now as opposed to later. In fact, there's beauty in the changes.
This is probably my 7-8th iteration of a studio setup I've had. (I've lost count).
Every one before this was in some kind of a retrofitted bedroom, this is the first time I've been able to afford a proper space, with lights and real gear. I couldn't be more grateful. To say that you all changed my life is an understatement. You've literally allowed my dreams to come true.
As you'll see, this space is full of possibility and the things we can do here, as opposed to a bedroom, are essentially ENDLESS.
I can't wait for all of you to see what we have coming soon.

I didn’t think the renders quite look real and the pipeline was not very good for us. I think real-time VP is the future but it’s just not “there yet” unless you’re a massive studio w resources.

It's nice to see so much effort to be put into something quite "mundane". But I noticed one big inaccuracy. "I wish the studio was 25 or 50% bigger so I can fill it with more stuff". Everyone who has that problem knows that that is a lie, even if You got that space it wouldn't be enough.

This is insane how on the cutting edge of virtual production you and your team are! I know that unreal engine has been largely on the forefront of virtual production, especially with things like the mandalorian using it, but looks like that was something that you guys ended up eliminating as an option - what was it about the final setup that worked where the previous ones didn’t?

Wow! That's a nice setup! The motion tracking thing is next level! I didn't know such a thing existed, although when you think about it, it's a must when you start moving the camera around. Great stuff! Love it!

This is awesome my dude. I am involved in another channel, possible launching a new True Crime show, and I am right in the middle of thining through a solution right now. Tracking the motion is REALLY what sells this sort of thing. Love it my man.

It is a very professional setup, congrats on what you and your team have built! You are very hard on yourself, saying the studio is a mess and such, but sometimes you have tell the perfectionist in you to chill and accept both the studio and the work you do in it is amazing and valuable :).

Coffee, you should make an infinite studio. It looks normal in camera 1, but when you look at camera 2 on the side, your background looks like an infinite office past your door or through the window or something lol.
