Love the longer videos but also like the older shorter videos as well. I think there are opportunities for both especially for time sensitive news… for example the FTX trial you could have done 4 5 minute videos on what’s actively happening in the court case as things are actively unfolding. Tying a news reporting segment into the coffeezilla cinematic universe may be tricky since your character is “the internet detective” though not impossible…maybe an alter ego or twin that reports the news, maybe another sidekick-like character could lead the segment. Lots of options!

For smaller vids, have a different feel and vibe vs big production value for the big vids. Red suspenders and 10m studio for big stuff and a 50k studio and whatever the opposite of red suspenders is (blue suspenders? Bow tie?) for the quick hit stuff. Similar to how John Oliver does webisodes vs full last week tonight.

The balance of videos of different effort levels kind of reminds me of Technology Connections. Alec has done a thing called No Effort November, and what you described kind of reminds me of that. So if all else fails, you could take inspiration from his channel in figuring out how to find that balance. Also, please don't ask me for name suggestions. I usually go for something low effort like Bob, Jim, or Sam.
