I've never seen a company consign themselves like this ever. They must've last minute realized that coffee wasn't going to just go into the interview blind, and tried to whip up a legal document to try and limit what you can ask under the guise of a "fair" interview. So glad you didn't accept that, it'd have been the Dan Shnider interview all over again.

a lot of credit cards give 3-4% on like gas or restaurants, variable bonuses from Discover, Chase, Citi 5%, Amazon Blue 6% groceries, Amex - make promotions like 10% on stuff, or spend $125 get $25, bestbuy credit card 5% on its stuff, amazon 5%, target 5% off and so on with many store cards. My guess is that they agreed to do the interview because they thought you showed weakness with your post in Reddit. They thought they had scared you with their threats of defamation so they thought they could just bully you into signing that legal agreement to do a toothless interview.

I think he’s just an oblivious CEO. Sounds like he messaged you without checking in with any of his team. Things escalate and he realises he has to tell someone. Legal team try to recover the situation with the NDA. Turns out the legal team are as incompetent as the CEO

Not that it's in your sphere but this sounds a bit like Legion M. You buy into it (shares) for future returns. They use the cash influx to fund different media types (Movies, comics, etc). They have been doing this for over 5 years and have consistently been in the red, current at -5M. The keep opening new rounds of funding for people to buy shares. Lather rinse repeat. I called the 2 owners out on it and they are feeding owners a bunch of double talk. Basically they are doing vanity projects and hob knobbing in Hollywood on everyone's dime.

Dude Coffee man, I know it wouldn't have mattered here but use Calendy or Google calendar to create events and invite them. It auto adjusts for their timezones and yours will start synced as well if you move around US/global.

They operate mainly in the UK in GBP. They have EU operations, but based on my look at their community they have the British majority there.

Looks like they operate in the EU through an office registered in Lithuania. My impression has been that EU regulators tend to be more aggressive about this sort of thing than US or UK regulators, who sometimes only act when the problem gets big enough to attract enough attention. Maybe I'm wrong about that, though. Have you contacted any EU regulators for comment?
