They could, easily so. Sirzechs and Ajuka weren't born yet, Michael alone was stronger than all of the remaining Devils aside from Rizevim. Had they wanted, they could have slaughtered the Devils to the last with ease.

Now im worried the end of the story is coming up, bringing ExE up now, killing Zekram, probably killing Rizevum! Nice chapter though looking forward to seeing what caused the tide to pop up. Scaith gonna has alot of corpses by the end of this and im still waiting for some gods of the dead to show up.

Damn, was it all a plot from the Machine Gods? After all, one of their gods (middle of the pack strength iirc) bodied Great Red like he was a Salamander. Wouldn’t be surprised if they took out Ophis at the same time before using DxD as a nexus to invade/get resources from other universes. Wouldn’t want to use their own in case they accidentally hit a universe too strong after all.

With all the portals and such I was starting to worry that this is the ExE timeline, and with that ending it feels like that worry has been confirmed, I'm not a fan of the ExE stuff and truthfully I don't like how it became Mecha.
