๐ฅ๏ธ Step 1: Download ComfyUI Desktop (If you haven't already)

๐ฆ Step 2: Download the Models
There is so much for Flux, I decided to make a dedicated post for it:

๐งฐ Step 3: Download the Workflow Files
๐ Download Level 1 or Level 2 json files (At the bottom of this post)
Drag and drop the file into ComfyUI
On the popup, click Open Manager
Download all missing custom nodes
A couple will remain missing, those are mine (see step 4)
If workflow is blank, press period on your numpad to frame all nodes into view
๐ง Step 4: Install the Maxed Out Nodes (Skip To Updating Below If You Have Them Already)
Go to your ComfyUI folder
Open the custom_nodes folder
Right-click an empty space, then click โOpen in Terminalโ
Paste this command and hit Enter:
git clone https://github.com/Maxed-Out-99/ComfyUI-MaxedOut.git
Once it finishes, you can safely close the terminal, thatโs it. โ
๐ Already Installed My Nodes?
Just update them like this:
Open your ComfyUI/custom_nodes/ComfyUI-MaxedOut folder
Right-click โ โOpen in Terminalโ
Run this:
git pull
Thatโs it, youโre up to date. โ

Actually it's the opposite. I would say flux is superior in quality. SDxl will be faster. It's hard to explain but it's worth trying both to see which you like better

When would you recommend using Flux vs SDXL. From what Ive gathered for my GTX1070 8gb Vram SDXL is out of the question? So would you say SDXL results are much greater compared to Flux for example.

I do not directly cover how to make nsfw images since I try to keep things very sfw. Although if you are trying to learn ComfyUI my workflows are great (especially sdxl workflows v1.5). I will also mention nothing is stopping you from using one of the many nsfw Flux LoRas on civitai ๐

Thankyou! Absolutely perfect timing for this to drop for me, first part of the workflow instantly answered the things I didnt quite get when I first tried Flux and why some checkpoints wouldn't load. Much appreciated :)
