IT's awesome to hear you'll do Ape Escape. I just got done with Astro Bot and I was very pleasantly surprised to see a whole level dedicated to it. I only ever played through the third game so perhaps this is a good opportunity to finally play through the first two

Cheers mate, My biggest concern for SH4 vid it could have potentially been a lot of bloat with the large length which how I kinda feel about first SH review but I'm very taken back by the quality and the time flowed naturally.I think this is my 2nd favorite analysis of the seried behind 3, you really outdid yourself :D Yeah I've been also personally recording uncompressed gameplay footage myself for fun and dealing with storage can be a nightmare, ended up getting 2TB HDD just for that myself hehe, good luck on the next series

I think it would be fun to see some kinda look at the recent ninja boom games, if any of them caught your eye, between the new Shinobi, Ninja Gaiden Ragebound, and slightly older stuff like Shinobi non Grata or Shadow of the Ninja Reborn. Most of those aren't indies though. Best indie game I played so far this year was Pipistrello and the Cursed Yoyo. I think it'd maybe be a _bit_ too kiddie for you, but I thought it was awesome, felt like someone made a brand new game boy advance classic. That's not the kinda platform I've seen a lot of nostalgic indie revivals for yet, and I thought this one did a good job evoking that era while bringing new things to the table. I also had a good laugh at Thank Goodness You're Here, dunno how that hits for an actual brit though.

I will say already, Ape Escape seems like the ultimate spin-off janitor series. As for Blade Chimera, it looks cool, wouldn't mind trying, we have a few 2D ninja games out at the moment, don't we?

Happy to see Ape Escape!!! A few of those spin-off games are pretty worth checking out too imo (even if not for the purpose a video). Rancid vibes seeing the series' corpse being pilfered by Astrobot. Blade Chimera was a pretty neat indie game from this year. Very beautiful looking Metroidvania, with combat that has an inherently satisfying crunch, and interesting ideas that fall a tad short. From the SMT Synchronicity Prologue team.
