Living in the NOW ๐
🕑 Added 2017-11-08 04:11:32 +0000 UTC Hey guys! Just thought I'd drop another little piece of advice that always helps me. I've often heard the phrase "live in the now" and even though I understood it intellectual I never ACTUALLY understood what it meant.A few months ago I understood what it meant to really live in the moment--- to be able to let go of any worries and focus on living in the present. I am a firm believer that you bring into your life what you put out. If you focus on positive you'll attract and notice more positive, if you focus on negative you will attract and notice more negativity.
Sometimes it's okay to sit, relax and focus on how you're feeling now. Being the over thinker that I am this was a weird concept to me. Stop planning for the future and live in the now? But how? There was so much to do and to think about!
Suddenly I understood that even though I was focusing on staying positive and looking for good things I was still worrying about the next steps I should be taking. What new ASMR videos will I be making next month? Should I invest in a new mic before the one I have dies? What will I do if YouTube decided to demonetize my videos???
So you see, even though I lived by appreciation and positivity I was still plagued with thoughts of what may come. I never took a moment to say "hey things are going great right now and that is enough."
I started to focus in the now. Seriously, these past few months I have literally not planned ANYTHING. Every single step I have taken has been inspired action. It has come from me living in my now and being happy where I am. When I feel inspired to do something I do it. When I get a new idea for a video I write it down. When I feel like it is my desire to get up and do something that is when I act. That is how I have been living in the now.
I don't expect everyone to follow my path but maybe this might be the little nudge for some of you. :) Good luck on your journeys! Oh and new giveaway coming soon!

Thank you Ricky, I am actively working on this very thing at the moment, so to see your note was very good for me. I have someone who wan5s to take me on a date... I signed up on one of those matching sites.... and well, I have not been much of an "in the moment" kind of gal due to anxieties and insecurities I have about myself and about the veracity of individuals one meets on-line, not to mention the safety side of things. It is all very scary as it is all unknown territory for me. I will keep in mind that I need to refrain from over-thinking, but not stop thinking altogether. Have a Bright and Blessed day Ricky!
