Mahiña's New Maha-Mart Vest
🕑 Added 2021-03-21 05:06:30 +0000 UTCI woke up one morning and immediately thought of drawing Mahiña in the new style of vests that folks at Walmart have been wearing lately. I mean, Mahiña works at Maha-Mart, a totally different chain of superstores—not the same thing whatsoever, but their uniforms do look pretty similar. It's a very strange coincidence...
I'm a vendor in the beverage distribution industry, and in my experience, Walmarts in particular have grocery managers who unknowingly have provided me with plenty of... character-development over the years...
Not all of them are so bad, but some others are quite frustrating to work with and act as if they own the world... perfect fit for Mahiña! She is a kind of antagonist in two different storylines, and her being a chunky tough grocery manager is a perfect fit. This is what Pebsi Merchandiser Linda is up against.
Oh, and my species called Cardians (Mahiña, Pom, Grant, Darius, Linda etc.) have 3 toes. The Maha-Mart logo is meant to be those toes, as a metaphor of getting walked-on.

Ah that makes me happy you're a fan of Mahiña and that she's the one who got you into my work! That's cool to hear. I try to make sure she gets the attention she deserves. Big hair, big belly, big personality... can't imagine what's not to love, heh.
It was Mahiña that got me into your art and I always love seeing more of her. Her personality's too much fun in both guises, and her design? The big-everything look is very much my style. Her hair might try to steal the show but it's sure got competition.
