NEW YEAR AND NEW MOVIES!
🕑 Added 2024-01-04 19:31:58 +0000 UTCHappy New Years everyone, sorry for our general silence lately but we have family still with us this week and it's been nice taking a small break from everything; though we will have polls starting up again soon!
So, with that in mind recommend us some movies. I know there are a lot of new people so go ahead and post whatever you have in mind, don't worry if we've already done it or not; just blast out whatever you think of first.
Love you all and thank you for constantly supporting us idiots, it truly means a lot and we have some cool things coming up this year! :)

The Burbs, Honey, I Shrunk the kids, Serpent and the Rainbow, The Ref, Two if by Sea, True Romance, How to lose a guy in 10 days, Beetlejuice, Jaws, Close Encounters of the 3rd kind, Weekend at Bernies, Gleaming the Cube, Valley Girl, Pretty in Pink (my ex's favorite brat pack flick)

While You Were Sleeping and Proposal are more com than rom and well liked by men. Practical Magic is good. The Heat. Cocktail. Fast Times at Ridgemont High. Lake Placid. Vincent Price in The Raven is a good oldie from before even my time.

Well After seeing that Boyz in the Hood..Green Mile...Pursuit of Happiness & Color Purple made u cry, I beg u, U gotta watch "Mr Church" feat.Eddie Murphy! It's also based on a True Story...I know you'll love it.

Maybe not on a poll, but we might just flat out do it! :)

I would add Predestination (2014) to that list. Still... a great list :p
Noah Smith
Can’t believe they’ve hit almost every big Carrey movie but Eternal Sunshine!
Noah Smith
Election (1999) hilarious, but in red smart high school comedy/drama. Top Secret (1984) same directors as Airplane and Naked Gun, but this is there best film imo. Burn After Reading (2008) a severely underrated Corn’s movie. Perfectly absurd. There Will Be Blood (2007) A modern classic. American Movie (1999) a documentary about a Wisconsin man and his journey to complete his film. Hilarious and real. About Time (2013) High concept romance. Might make you cry.
Octokrool
Already on the channel!

I've got a copy of Tucker & Dale vs. Evil waiting on my shelf. Scanning the rest of my shelf: Heathers, Empire Records. Can't remember if you've done Smokey and the Bandit. Might be hard to get your hands on, but the two Cannonball Run movies would be amazing. Can't remember if you did The Replacements (football comedy with Keanu Reeves). Top Secret with Val Kilmer (a total send-up of spy, WWII resistance, Casa Blanca and Elvis movies). Johnny Dangerously with Michael Keaton (gangster comedy). Something to avoid: One Saturday, I watched Equilibrium, Priest, and Ultraviolet back-to-back-to-back. Then I realized I watched the same movie three times. If you're up for foreign film/foreign language, Akira Kurosawa's Ran and Throne of Blood are excellent (King Lear and Macbeth, respectively). If you're up for anime, consider Perfect Blue, Ghost in the Shell, or any of the Studio Ghibli movies (Totoro, Spirited Away, Princess Mononoke, etc).

Heres a Few to take seriously if nothing more, for your own watching lol: Big - Tom Hanks God Bless America - My personal favorite from some people you know that is a freaking one of a kind and commentary on the US culture weirdness. School for Scoundrals - Hedger, Michael Clark Duncan (RIP) and Billy Bob Thorton The Interview - Franco and Rogan The Double- Topher Grace and Richard Gere Mr Rodgers Movie with Tom Hanks Big Fish - Devito and Many FUNNY PEOPLE - Adam Sandler and Seth Rogan Hot Tub Time Machine (1&2) - Bateman, Charlie Day, Sadaikous This is 40- Paul Rudd Get Him to the Greek - Russell Brand and Jonah Hill Finally, very unfunny but moving as all heck: Reign Over Me - Adam Sandler and Don Cheadle Last Flag Flying - Steve Carrel and Bryan Cranston to say the least.

Brotherhood of the Wolf (2001) it is a French period action horror film. It is in French with subtitles. I totally understand if you guys do not want to do a subtitled movie. Another choice would be Patriots Day (2016) It’s about the 2013 Boston marathon bombings.
Julie Scott
Train to Busan (2016) subtitled but so worth it! The Miracle Worker (1962) Incredible film that I have never seen anyone react to. The Last Voyage (1960) almost non stop suspense from the first scene, also never seen anyone react to it. 12 Angry Men (1957) The Bad Seed (1956) Smile (2022)

how high, half baked, airheads, and cheech and chong. funny pothead movies.
Brandie Woodward
Definitely Rear Window and Dial M for Murder. Both Alfred Hitchcock movies, since you liked Psycho. Cocoon, Arsenic and Old Lace, Last Boy-scout with Bruce Willis. Patriot’s Day was a great movie based on the Boston Marathon bombing. Shining Through was a good WWII movie. The next two Die Hard movies. Die Hard with a Vengeance was good.

Going on stream of thought.... Dark Crystal, since you watched Labyrinth Rear Window The Birds Silverado Snakes on a Plane You saw the first Conan movie, second one, Conan the Destroyer is lighter and not as good, but it's still Arnold Ip Man (did you watch this series?) The Last Starfighter or Flight of the Navigator (if you want a nice 80s romp) Invasion of the Body Snatchers (personally I like the 50s version but the 1978 version is also good) Eight Legged Freaks (although I might skip watching this with ya) Descent Midsommar Taken Citizen Kane Doctor Sleep (sequel to the Shining) Dune 28 Days Later Innerspace (You'd have fun with this - Martin Short, Dennis Quaid) Undercover Blues - My name is MUERTE! I really think you guys would like the Good Omens series. Seriously. Reupping some of the other ones mentioned in other comments Dick Tracy - was a fan of the comics and LOVED the movie Rocketeer - might like this one too 13th Warrior
