Not a sci-fi but there’s a series I recommend to watch and react, “Baby Reindeer” it’s a dark comedy based on a true story from Richard Gadd who’s in it. It’s on Netflix and hopefully you guys give it a shot 👍🏻

Of these, I have seen three of them and if I had to pick which of them I think you two would like the best, it would DEFINITELY be Weird Science! Followed closely by Hitchhiker's Guide.

just changed my vote for this reason. while i love hitchhikers i feel like a lot of the movie is little inside jokes for those who are fans of the books and if you aren't, you may get lost a little bit. pitch black sounds soooo good!! i've never seen it but it reminds me of the Scary Monsters in the show firefly. i'm down for that one!

Gotta agree with you on this… saw E.T. when it came out in my twenties… was like… meh…never got the hysteria and box office record breaking. Voted for Weird.

hitchhikers is a must, but i have to admit if you don't know anything about it and haven't read the books it can feel very trippy and confusing. but it will forever hold a place in my heart

According to my parents, I loved E.T. when I was younger and watched it over and over. Hadn't seen it since and watched it a few years ago ... not a fan. I didn't really like it now so I'm hoping for any of the other 3 on the list except that. Also ... I did have a Hitchhiker's Guide themed birthday party almost 3 years ago. Very fitting for the age I was turning.
