The Reign of Jess continues!
🕑 Added 2023-07-14 17:41:00 +0000 UTCHi all, and welcome to the Friday update. Now that life is 85% back to normal - well, the new normal at any rate - I'll try to keep up my 3-a-week schedule again. Can't promise it'll always be smooth, but here we go!
Today I want to talk about the road to 0.7 and summarise everything we currently know in one place, then as things progress, I'll start drip-feeding the usual morsels of hype.
Step one: The Mini-update
I want to get this thing done, dusted and out of the way as quickly as humanly possible. The mini-update will feature updates to all in-school events that involve the bad girls, many of which will just be new dialogue, but there'll also be some new choices and maybe even a scene or two in there. There'll also be the fourth prefects scene that should have been in 0.6 and some new break and lunch events that will visually illustrate the way the school is changing as the bad girl/popular girl war progresses.
If I work hard, (and nothing else goes wrong,) I'm hoping I can get this to you in August.
Step two: Chapter 5
A decent chunk of the writing for this is done and just needs going back over and refining (as I've mentioned before, this story has been in my head for a long time.)
Chapter 5 is the first half of what was originally going to be the rest of the Reign of Jess story, but as the ideas just kept coming, I realised that the only way to do this justice would be to split it in two. As we know, Missy and Abbie have two days in which to find out what Jess is using to control Miss Paris, so this chapter will tell the story of the first day.
I'll soon be giving you a first look at the exciting new location that you can explore in this update: the port-city of Fivaviana. This city is quite different than the capital, and more dangerous.
I don't want to sell a hostage to fortune this early on and try to predict a release date for Chapter 5, but I'm extremely excited to begin work on it, and we'll be seeing some of that work soon.

Don't push yourself, it's easy to become engrossed in work and personal projects and end up neglecting your health and relaxation as a side effect.

No, she'll abuse you no matter what! Jess doesn't really understand or know how to cope with her feelings towards Missy, and up to this point, they've come across as bullying. With Missy completely at her mercy, the safety is off.

Will the story play out differently with how you treated Jes before enslavement? Like if you regularly pissed her off so she’ll be more cruel. Or the opposite if you were sub missy
