Had to reflect on this one overnight. You are saying we should peel away the familiar and comfortable to see our true selves, no matter how that makes us feel. That is the price we pay. Confronting the dark makes our light brighter. ‘Concessions stand and concessions made’ ‘Funhouse mirror becomes clear’ is my favorite stanza in this piece. Well done and thank you.
