No, it's not that unusual to me to look at untextured models. What I mean is, that when looking next to her neck, you can tell that there is a lot of empty space. Although proper shadows and ambient occlusion will improve that a lot already, I think once Ademar adds the inner layers, it will be much better.

To me it feels more familiar now. Her head still looks very "bare", or "exposed" (hard to describe). Almost like the hair is not attached to her head. I thought about suggesting to move the side bangs closer to her head, but it will probably automatically look better after you add inner hair layers.
