Okay, that reasoning makes sense. I like to treat models more like figures too, instead of overdoing it with the realism. I still think cuteness is more important than eye movement, especially since she almost has yandere eyes in direct comparison. I would rather suggest using the iris scale morph instead of making this the default. But, well, it's easy to change, so I don't plan to start a fight because of it.

I reduced the size of her eyes a bit to make eye movement more noticeable, and yeah I tried playing with the normals in areas where the hair splits but even though I could make it look somewhat good from one side I made it look worse from other angles, and about the seams well I really don't see it as to much of a big deal since I consider MMD models closer to anime figures than real animation models, and figures have those kinda seams, besides when I decide to use a new hairdo I'd have to re-edit those normals.

I loaded her 2.0.13 version up earlier in blender, to compare her to my current 2.0.9 based blender version. Overall the new hair looks nice, though there is room for improvement. My suggestion would be to use custom normals to hide the seams between the middle part and front/back parts, and also to use custom normals in the places where the hair splits. Currently there is a bit of dark shading that lets you see exactly where the split starts. I think this could be hidden by making the normals close to the split more parallel. I noticed that her irises look really small now compared to 2.0.9. What's the reason for making them smaller? I think the bigger ones make her look cuter.
