September was bizarre and full of derailments, some taxing, some unkind...but October is for making up lost time in as much as I'm able. You guys are amazing, and thank you for your patience.
As for the comic, I've been asked more than once what makes Mordecai smile. There are somewhat meaner ways than this to answer that, but I guess I went for
the more saccharine of options. The kitten made me do it. (At least 40% of the digital work on this was done with her climbing over my shoulders and trying to wrestle with my drawing hand. She provided much inspiration here...almost as much as she provided distraction.)

Who would I have to kill to get your level of artistic skill? Please don't say "Just keep working at it!" I'm pretty sure that I could acquire the mindset for murder before I acquire your amazing work ethic. Thank you! Unfortunately, things like this take me a long time to put together. It's difficult to say exactly how many hours were put into it, but I worked on this incrementally over the course of a few weeks.

I'm... I'm... Absolutely flabaghasted... I mean what? How? What did I just witness here?? How did you manage to immerse me so deeply into this one image? I really felt like I was right there, watching two kids interacting with one another. It felt real. Is my jaw still wide open? Yes. The storytelling in this piece is probably your best one yet Tracy. From the subtle expressions, the details of the room (and office), the dialogue to... Man I could just go on and on. *goes on Skype* "Hey Mike! Can you help me voice Young Mordecai again?" Amazing stuff. No matter how long it takes, your work is ALWAYS worth the wait. Goodness... And I still got 'Kitten Update: The Kittening' to go on my inbox! Gonna go check that out tomorrow cuz I'm saving any good stuff comin' from ya for another day! I'm too overwhelmed to go on. lol Oh and one last thing. Mordecai smiling. I mean... Come on man... This is too much for me. *dies on the ground from overwhelming awesomeness* *wakes up a few moments later* Crap! No time for that! Gotta get back into 'Beyond The Western Deep' stuff! lol
