No. It's a variant on 'rally the troops' designed specifically to refer to the band.
Legotti
That wasn't meant to say "troops"?

Let's give a cheer for Walter! Hip-hip!

Thank you for the clarification. So I assume we can expect Rocky & Ivy soon. :)

Thank you! The events in Contretemps to Distemper take place the evening after Rocky and Ivy's trip to Defiance (the Thunderhead page is sort of an indicator of time passing between Ivy awaking to the message on her wall and Mordecai growing impatient for the tardiness of his cohorts. I may add a little ''that evening' tag to that, though, since it's probably not very clear). Mitzi's pep talk to the band would be happening roughly around the same time Mordecai was was stumbling into the Savoys' soirée.

Oh man this is good! WOW!

Wonderful page! "You gave him a child with a gun??" Can I ask the question, by the way? Are Mordecai-and-Savoys events (from "Contretemps" to "Distemper") happening the same night Ivy and Rocky were at Defiance? Or it's the next night and we have skipped the day? And this new page - is it morning or evening, and does it come after Mordecai's night work?

KYA! Awesome as always!

I just get the biggest most ridiculous smile while reading these- you knocked it out of the park again.

It's been a while since I've *literally* laugh-out-louded at a comic, but "YOU GAVE HIM A GUN?" totally earned it. Kudos.

Let's all be damned together. This story just keeps getting better and more beautiful. I need a wallpaper of the the "You gave him a gun?" panel.Pure 100% patented liquid win in gin flavor.

It's a gin soaked time machine. I never ceased to be amazed at the mix of humor and virtuosity you put on the page.
