This is EXCELLENT! I love watching abandoned shows on youtube and reading about abandoned places. There's something so sad and eerie in seeing crumbling walls, or seeing bits of life that happened that still remains. It always amazes me how quickly nature is like "this is mine, and this is mine, oh and this too..." and reclaims what's left behind (see Nara Dreamland in Japan). Thank you for being an urban explorer and sharing these photos and the history!

It's been a fascination for me going back as far as I can recall too. I suppose that sort of curiosity and the tendency to make up stories to fill in the blanks is where a lot of creative writing and art comes from. =)

Wow, Tracy, thank you SO so much for sharing al this! I have been irresistibly drawn to abandoned architecture (houses, bridges, factories, mining camps, whatever I could find) since I was a little kiddo. And I've always wished so much that I knew anything at all about the history of the places I explored--when I was little, I often made up stories about the people who'd lived and worked in them. I love this, thank you!
