i remember trying to draw a realistic face in my jr high art class and being told "you need to show less of the white parts of the eyes so it's not as intense" and i was like. man i am going to mess up on purpose to make things look intense now haha

Thanks for all the info.. Now I want to see each of the characters posing in the patented unhinged state... I can see it like a 'no no no, its more like this.' and Mordecai not doing it until someone points out that he wore two different socks for some reason.
