How Do You Feel About Sound?
🕑 Added 2020-07-27 17:52:08 +0000 UTCI never did put sound in Fantasy Trainer because of several reasons, mostly I was just not confident I'd be able to find sound/music that fits.
But now I have a new opportunity to try with My Girlfriend's Friends, and I would like your opinion on it. Keep in mind that while you might like sound in games like these, I might not be GOOD at choosing what sounds to use.
Sounds would be things like beds squeaking and girls moaning.
Music would mainly be the map/overworld page and smaller specific occasions.

Sometimes I enjoy music in games but, often it gets repetitive and distracting. As a result, I end up not having sound on. That said, perhaps the most useful quality is a bg volume and vocal volume separate. Often vocals interfere with my immersion and my own "inner voice" of what a character sounds like so I always play with vocals off.

Music does improve the overall experience and allows the dev a chance to set the proper mood for a scene. Something that you don't get if the player simply plays whatever they want in the background and if a player doesn't like it well they can easily mute it :P

I guess it's quite a great idea for adding music...I think it worth trying. Good luck finding the right music...

I would like sound, but I find that music in games can quickly come to seem repetitive and annoying. So I'd have liked to vote for sound but no music, had that been an option.

I don't really need sound in any of the adult games I play as I usually play them muted. But I guess some people would like to have sound.
