Very interested in the potential of LSD and other psychedelics as treatments for Alzheimer's disease. I was surprised to hear that, in spite of LSD's action on several pathways relevant to dementia progression, it has such a small anti-inflammatory effect. Inflammation is thought to be one of the contributing factors in dementia progression. I wonder if other psychedelics that have strong anti-inflammatory effects would be even more effective.
