Couldn’t reply to your comment Hamilton so I’ll make a new one. Yeah, a dmt extraction got me into chem after watching one of your videos at 17. Watched the Wolf of Wall Street (which I can pretty much quote) at around 18. Got interested in Methaqualone synthesis and the same year. followed probably the exact same guide this guy used, but was linked to it from the hive. Took me failing twice at o-toluidine from nitrotoluene I made myself for my older and much more experienced friend (who I previously assisted in a limited capacity making personal use bk-mdma) to step in, lend some glassware, and show me how it’s done. Only thing from there was to scale up the reaction to a commercial scale, which peaked right before I checked myself into rehab pretty soon after I turned 19. But Methaqualone is far from my end-goal. I am fascinated with cannabinoid chemistry on a professional level (like HU-211 is a cannabinoid which doesn’t act on cb1 or 2 but instead acts as an NMDA antagonist, which is really strange) and have just a personal fascination with 5ht2a and k-opioid receptors
