The most common question I get is how to play and since I can't sleep anyways I tried address this now while im doing nothing anyway.This is something that I have thrown together to help newer people start up faster. If you already have your own MUGEN version you probably don't need this, but with this version it will be a lot easier for me to reliably reproduce any issues people run into since the settings are nearly identical to my own version.
If you dont have a very big mugen install and have some weird bug like your character sliding across the screen when they perform an h move, try this version.

How to add new characters:
There are two ways to do this, by either using
VSelect or the old fashioned way
VSelect is a visual tool that makes adding chars easier but it's not optimal for the current screen pack. Make sure you watch the tutorial for it in the link above.
If you do try to use VSelect, to make things easier, i filled every empty cell a character can be added to with "randomselect" (Those are all the spaces with a question mark). The Select.def you need to modify is in data/neon, not the one in the root data folder!
So if you do use VSelect, when you add a new character make sure you do so by REPLACING one of those spaces and not by INSERTING them.
This also goes for if you want to add characters manually.
DONT ADD THEM ONTO A NEW LINE.
JUST REPLACE one of the "randomselect" lines with the character name. IE:
If you wanted to add chun-li here, just erase 'randomselect' and replace it with 'chunli' (or whatever the chars name is)
How to add new stages:

Well just like the character you download extract, but instead of leaving the stage in the folder like you do with the character files, you just paste the stages .def and .sff file right into the stages folder.
Then open select.def and scroll down until you see where it says "extra stages". After this line input the stage as follows.
stages/ryustage.def
Now that stage will come up randomly when playing arcade. Buy you also want to know how to assign it to a character. Well it just like this:
KFM, stages/kfm.def
Ryu, stages/ryustage.def
Now when you fight ryu you will fight him at the ryustage.

hi i already download your mugen, when i try play the exe the screen all black, still can hear voice and can select like arcade or something but all black screen. what's the problem?

What characters? I haven't had any issues with palettes
characters keep showing up with non-standard/non-existent (all green) palettes. i cant change them in vs or watch mode (brand new to mugen sorry)
