hi, I do always use audacity but I have not had to do this before, I really appreciate the help I was able to fix it now

Use software like Audacity (free), Adobe Audition, Logic Pro, etc. Duplicate the track and pan left and right Convert to dual mono . Chat GPT can find an easy solution for you.
