This was very entertaining thank you Hamilton. I love ketamine. Tripping HARD on ketamine is an experience like nothing else, and Stephen makes a decent attempt here as far as putting together some words to describe it. Especially what he says about having powerful insights that you then immediately forget - that is dead on. More exciting (for me) however was your guys opening that can of worms about John Lily, especially when you then mention of his interest in "coincidence control". Being a trained neuroscientist, I was with Stephen in regards to Lily, thinking he was a bit outrageous. However a few years ago I had a trip on PCP where the "coincidence" component to the trip was so extreme, so undeniable, that I concluded following the trip that there could not, NOT have been something intentionally manipulating my environment - and if this actually was the case, it meant that we are living in a type simulation, and if we are in a simulation there must be a creator, God. It was intense man. And if there were anyone else who ever saw some shit like that, it would have to be Lily, wouldn't it? Thanks guys. Cheers.

The difference is one of these people you can choose to listen to their story on this podcast or turn it off. The other person was granted the power to control federal spending in a way that rivals the US congress - effecting every US citizen’s life and many others while controlling spending on seemingly all the government agencies that have any power to have oversight for his business ventures. While (imo) appearing just incredibly loaded in a few White House meetings. Regardless, there was the broader point that these things are possible now and I think it’s especially important to recognize what unique danger this presents especially if you take ketamine (but even if you don’t. ) To me it was eye opening and if I ever take ketamine again I’ll be especially conscious about having a phone near by. I’ve definitely experienced making grandiose communications that were only possible thru the aid of predictive text and auto correct. Otherwise this is another of his conversations I would consider ‘art’ in the sense that it put words to thoughts I’ve had but have never been able articulate this well.

The speculations in here about Elon's ketamine use are pretty ridiculous. He has stated that at one time he had a prescription for at home lozenges (as do I and many others). That doesn't mean he was abusing it. These articles about it are irresponsible speculation because they hate Elon. Surprised to see you give in to it all. This guys ketamine abuse (as he makes pretty clear) is good, Elon's use is suspect and maybe makes him crazy. Got it.
