The plan for this month is the completion of Es, release of the new Brian WIP
I have been working on what you could call an updated version of TOBF with Grug (you may know him from tumblr or the discord) but it's been on the back burner for a while since I've had to fulfill character nominations and other stuff.
I want to spend more time on it as there is a lot of cool stuff we could do with it such as
• Bosses
• Victim Stripping
• Better Gameplay as Victim
• More unique moves (vs just doggy, side missionary, etc)
and im a little bored of making new victims that all do mostly the same thing. IMO, I think less characters with more functionality would be more desirable to the community at large, and a very well made aggressor with some modability/flexibility is what the community needs the most, but i digress.
Basically, what would you prefer I focus?
Even if I focus on the beat 'em up "game", i'll still do character nominations, they just will come at a slower pace. The upside is that I think they will be all around more complete feeling as a result, at least in my eyes.

Do whatever you want to do and offer a 'quality' product that way. If you begin to feel burnout from constantly working on the same thing then the final product is obviously going to suffer, and I doubt that anyone here wants that. The ToBF ideas sound really cool, btw, and I'm looking forward to getting my hands on the new and improved Brian. I'll save my thought of nominating the DoA girls for compatibility for a later time, so as I said before, you start doing you.
tbh it wouldnt be a bad idea to put new releases on hold and just update old characters instead while the new tobf is being made. i assume it'd be less work than making new ones and there's a lot of chars id love to see updated

I'd rather have new victims aka old victims whom never had their compatitibilty updated in many years to be brought up to date because quite a several of my favorites is in that category and they turn invisbile when hit with new agressor moves. :/ Stuff like Dragon, tiffany lords, and nude athena, etc.

Yep, definitely on the TOBF successor wagon. Victims are nice, but tobf is probably one of my favorite aggressors in mugen, so getting more like that would be great.

I'd say continue workin' on TOBF, personally. It's a lot of fun to use on different victims. That and I feel like the Dog could be buffed a bit as the victims seem to be able to break away too easily
it's worth investing in a new version of TOBF now rather than later. having a stronger basis for future content will pay dividends for you, your patrons and the community in the long run. and tbh id much rather have slower coming but more furnished characters than just basic compats what timeframe are you expecting for this project?
