Dev Roadmap: Update Cycle!

While v0.3a is downloading, let us tell you about what the dev team will be working on now!
Since we've completed the main overhaul of gameplay systems in developing v0.3, we are now set up to release more modular updates. Our current plan is to release minor updates on the order of every two weeks. These updates will contain some combination of new clothing items, new events, new sandbox dialogue, new systems, new sprite positions, new animations, bugfixes, and whatever else we can think of. Some updates will be bigger than others, but the overall goal is to have a more steady stream of new content in the form of official releases.
I will continue to upload preview builds for those with beta access - these will preview the content being added in the coming official release, with the expectation that some things still might need some tweaking.
On our priority list right now:
1. Overhaul sex art to match new standing art
2. Update both standing and sex sprites to use Live2D for more fluid animations
3. Add in more clothing items to get the wardrobes back to size
4. Flesh out friendship system to have characters' relationships with each other change over time
5. Add in dirty talking to sex and flirting systems
6. Finish Chapter I: Summer by adding optional events for each character and finalizing the Chapter 1 finale event
7. Write more mundane/sexy sandbox events and more NSFW interactions to flesh out the day-to-day
8. Overhaul cinematic sequence art to match new standing art

Ron Chon Productions 1mo We're (ambitiously) eyeing five chapters right now, with three new love interests introduced every chapter. Old love interests will remain in play and continue to be developed in future chapters! Chapter I will probably take the longest for us to develop as we want to develop the gameplay systems as much as possible before throwing more characters into the fray.

Does version 0.3 cancel the naughty behavior during dates in restaurant and cinema?

We're considering more Null character customization - we just want to be careful, because more customization means more art needed in later scenes to reflect it. It's something we're open to, but we have so many scenes we want to do already that it's probably not going to be a priority for a little bit.

You awaken abilities by going to the "Skills" tab in the game menu, clicking on one of the nodes in the hexagonal array, and pressing the "Awaken" button in the bottom right box!

One of the ways we're hoping to manage this is with a "friendship" system - basically, in the same way as the player gains trust with characters by spending time with them, characters gain friendship by spending time with each other. We already track the relevant statistics, it's really just a matter of adding more writing and dialogue to reflect the change. So, you can imagine that after several seasons of Jean and, say, Laura attending classes, going to the pool, and training together, they will be considerably "warmer" to each other than their default!

Call this next one a question or suggestion but anyway to make the Null character image more customizable to match up with the game art?I'm a big lover of customization in gaming and always feel it definitely adds to the immersion. I myself have graphic arts background and could whip up an example to send what I am talking about. Could be more fun as opposed to the simple Null design options. Otherwise I really love the game & anxiously await more as it grows.

I'm stuck on Chapter 1 Winter - Awaken the stamina ability. Just been running through trying to complete it for a while with no change. Any tips as I have completed everything else.

What will be the overall design philosophy? How many chapters will there be, will there be totally new love interests in the newer chapters? or will we take the older ones with us?

You're going to need a new save for this update! We will do our best to make sure that is not the case in future updates, but we changed a lot of things between 0.2 and 0.3.
