🕑 Added 2019-01-30 18:30:55 +0000 UTCI really wanted to make this a big surprise, I really did; just suddenly drop an "intro" piece showing this, but alas, I could not decide on one damn thing, so here's a poll.
Remember that thing I told you about where I wanted to upgrade all my older characters?

I knew I could make the chars better, but I didn't know the difference would be this huge, and this good. ;3; It took me something like a week, or possibly over a week, to finish her, and at least half of that time I spent working only on the hair. :^D JESUIS CHRISTMAS THE HAIR
But now it looks much better, it's much more efficient, and much easier to work with! :D I can still see a couple of ways to improve it, but that can wait. XD
Other than the hair, I've obviously improved the anatomy, gave her a better definition of most features, removed the ridiculously stupid hand pads (finger pads stay tho), made her head a normal shape instead of a goddamn balloon, added a lot of life to her face, and topped it all off with texture and shader balancing. I should probably redo some elements of the textures, but I figured they worked fine after some minor tweaks.
She's so cute now. ;3;
Anyway, the poll!
She has whiskers now, but I can't decide if I want them. I've asked all my friends - some love them, some hate them, so now it is time to ask a wider audience. This means you.
Also note that should you decide against them, I will also remove the little divots that they grow out of. But if you'll want them to stay, I will include the divots in the textures, which will make them look much better than they do now. They're barely noticeable as they are, but I promise you the ARE there, as evidenced by this normal pass view:
So do the whiskers stay or not?
P.S. I will use the responses from this poll for any other characters who should have whiskers, but don't right now.

I kind of agree with you on the whiskers making her looks a bit feline, but don't forget that cresties are more similar to cats than dogs in behavior. And I am in no way stretching facts to convince you that she needed whiskers! Nope! Otherwise, glad you like! :D

I love her new look, very squish and well defined. Her hair looks amazing and really like how it hangs down and frames her face. Sadly im not a fan of the whiskers though. I feel they stand out to much and make her look feline in some way.

I absolutely love the changes. Her longer hair frames her face very well, and it's curious to see how something small like the whiskers or making her eyes a bit more almond-shaped bring out tons more personality. The body shape changes are also great, and make it seem like she's growing up a bit, and developing out uniquely. Of course, the wider hips fit well with all the permanent stretching and experimentation She's known for.

They'd only work if I changed their shape completely; as it was, it made absolutely no sense from an anatomical/evolution standpoint. WHAT WAS I THINKING The changes you mentioned are probably less than half of the list haha! There were so many wonky things about her. :^)

I liked those hand pads. Maybe they'd work if they were less meaty and in the way and more like a bit of a grip pad and thinner. I see that belly :D. I'm on a tiny phone so I may miss stuff. You've changed the stomach, breasts/areola, shoulders, neck, head, hair, nose, and eye shape?

No, she actually got shorter by like 1 cm. XD It's just the proportions that changed.
