I only use discord to put in my nominations and for xbox gaming chat. Other than that I'm also overwhelmed by discord. I prefer putting in my nomination on discord and voting on Patreon.

Joined discord but not use it, others patreon use pool selection directly on patreon, it's more easy, on discord is hard stay on the pool (this is my opinion)

When I was last on Discord (a couple of years ago) I mentioned how a model was presupported badly and suggested how it could be improved, and a whole bunch of white knights attacked me for having constructive criticism. Nomnom itself handled it well but the community felt pretty toxic so I haven't done anything with the Discord since.

I'm on discord but I avoid using it unless absolutely necessary (ie: creators who share the files via discord only) Discord is just too chaotic for me to follow, especially now that I'm at the discord channel limit.

The survey is a bit biased: people might be in the Discord but not really use it (as illustrated by many of the comments). Maybe would be better to ask which platform people use the most for NomNom stuff? (Could be "1) Patreon, 2) Discord, 3) Both")

On the discord but don't really use it. We aren't really a constant patron, because often what the majority picks isn't stuff we are into, we sign up when stuff sparks our interest, but it feels like a lot from the same genre.

I am on the discord, but rarely use it. Discord has been great for smaller communities in my experience, but large communities I find are hard to really engage with. If it's not the latest posts it just gets buried. I would like to vote, but do not enjoy the process on discord and would 100% prefer to use Patreon again.

I agree with the people above. If voting and stuff was on patreon, I'd do it there. I don't want to miss out but I also would like to see less "@everyone" notifications on discord 😅😅😅
