The late night affairs of dogs
🕑 Added 2024-11-22 18:56:09 +0000 UTCA highly experimental piece, where I wanted to see if I can make a trash flavored liminal image, and it turns out that, by golly, I can very much. In fact I'm going to recycle this scene for another one. :)
This is loosely based on another dream I had many years ago. There was less color, mostly black and yellow; the walls looked like that, shiny, with the yellow light stripes in similar shapes, but closer in texture to rock, and I think there may have been white or yellow mist too. I was there with my grandpa, but we split at some point and I was searching for him. As I wandered the hallways, everything gradually and unnoticeably shifted into something like a corporate office building/mall crossover, but the general tunnel shape remained. There were now sporadic windows - wide, taking up the entire height of the walls. It was daytime outside, sunny, showing kind of a Frutiger Aero world snippet. But I ramble.
Posting this in full size for everyone because it's "Negative Space, The Art," and also who needs trash dog for ants??? Other than ants I mean, but like not many ants viewing this I don't think.
Enjoy. <3

Oh yeah, this place is definitely way bigger than it seems - plenty of room for skating. :) Thank you!

Funny enough its when I zoomed in to take a closer look at Jinjing-Yu that I could really feel how BIG the space was. It really does give you that slight unease that comes with liminal things, and I think the effect is more pronounced on the black and white version of the image. I'm impressed!
