Have you assigned the tracker to "waist" in Steam VR? Go to Devices/Controllers > Manage Vive Trackers and assign the role.

Peter Griffin

How do I get the tracker to show? It shows on SteamVR, but not ingame. I have the Asstronaut build running, btw.

So i got the old oculus cv1 with touch ccontroller, but i have seen that i can buy 2 vive stations and a tracker, then be able to link them up with oculus, and with this update im really considerating it now :D

Thanks

IK (Inverse Kinematics) is the system that allows the character to be posed. I will probably remove the option to disable it in the future as it's not really needed.

Hey. Firstly. Great project. This is a game changer, My query. What is the IK mode? I cant seem to figure out how to use it? Cant manage to move the limbs in this mode.

I can't wait until you include the head attach point...

Sam Fisher

This function work fine and it greatly improve the immerssion feeling. Good Job !!

AntiZero

Can't say when yet, but it's definitely coming up

I didn't decide yet how to implement a player body but it's something I'll experiment with later for sure

Peter Griffin

Do you plan on adding a male avatar. Would like to add a tracker to my waist ;-)

Hello, when will you enable the attach feature in her head? I would love to try it soon , your game is amazing

AntiZero

Thank you! At the moment it only works with a Vive tracker, but I'm working on controller support. There's designs for a 3D printable bracket out there but I think it only fits original Rift or Vive controllers. When I figure out the best way to attach it I'll post a pic.

Michael

Your awesome! I am glad you tried out my idea on the tracked flesh light :) any pics of how to attach the flesh light to the controller for best performance? I bought a new fleshlight just in case this idea became a reality :)

The physics isn't actually that heavy, but rendering the hair is really heavy. I'm going to add the Quest hair to the next build, and eventually more.

Have you any plans to be able to disable the physics for the hair like in the oculus Quest build ? It seems to have an heavy impact on performances especially when adding multiple characters.
