Solution for the nobody surrendering problem: turn on PvP. If you let them try to force each other out you don't need to do all the work. Then they can agree to draw if they want. Though maybe it wouldn't work since Lotte is involved. They could just disallow offensive spells for her? Complicates the solution a bit.

All the luck is flowing from Arakil to Lily... Lily is powered by the luck of a minor deity. Or perhaps Arakil used up all his luck by being inherited by Lily... her early life wasn't particularly lucky overall.
