You need to be able to detect spatial rifts to know how to dodge them, that's literally why Vee thread is so dangerous because unlesd you specialize in spatial magic it's undetectable, therefore mostly undodgeable.

Well, presumably to dodge one would move slightly to not be where you decide to open the rift when you open it. But I guess since it's undodgeable you can anchor the location to an enemy instead of spacial coordinates?
