I've been busy these lest few weeks and just saw this DRM update. I hate it. So now you have to always be online in order to play the games? DRM doesn't solve anything, it just creates more problems.

What steps should I take if patreon doesnt open when trying to verify the game? it just restarts back through the opening animation and never opens the browser

I downloaded the 0.4.1 version and it kept repeating a need for verification. Then I downloaded the 0.4.1a version and now it states I dont have permission to open the application despite being the admin..

Hey just downloaded the game and when I press to go to the browser it just resets. Anybody knows how to fix it?

I just wanted to let you know that I just cancelled my pledge to you. I do not support DRM in any form, as it does not stop pirates, and only hurts legitimate customers. ( and it has already been broken ) I also do not support shitty excuses for it, as the people who pirate wouldn't have supported you anyway, and now they never will. And let's not talk about the fact that the crappy little self implemented DRM solutions tend to break a lot... I didn't really see you guys going the way of "Glamour" and not learning a single thing... I know that this means nothing in the grand scheme of things, but it will add up. Best of luck with your dumb, self defeating choice... And you know, I'm not mad, I'm just disappointed...

Same here, can't download with the old gold tier, the same it still is with LT S2 translation update. And I agree, they should not be referring to the amount of money but gold, silver etc

Same for me. Old Gold-tier that was supposed to be locked in for the new higher tier when the new system was implemented, but I can't access it. Also, shouldn't these releases be referencing Gold tier, Silver, etc, rather than ** dollar amount? It gets confusing when you reference $24 tier when there are old and new tiers at different dollar amounts.

If this method works, please share it with other Patreon developers. Their assets deserve to be protected. People who play games through illegal sharing on pirate sites don't even realize they're in the wrong, and claim that "playing for free helps promote the game." But it's nothing more than self-justification. The moment a game is shared illegally, it's no longer promotion—it forces people who might have bought the game to play it for free instead.

Good morning everyone, Nice to read that there is another update. The login issue is fine and doesn't bother me. But I fear that it will curb the pirate scene. The discussion is as old as video game playing itself. There will always be people who want to or can pay for something. And there will always be those who are happy to pay for it.
