I am able to see another side of the commentary about the hair-whipping girls welcoming Trump. This was extremely controversial in the Islamic community, for sure. I also made a comment like, “Why are they doing that?” Someone thought I was really asking why. Some white American liberal was like, “Because it's their culture!” I was like, no shit, Sherlock. That's not what I meant. I meant, why are they welcoming Donald Trump like this? Because if anyone actually knows their culture, they know that this is extremely taboo, lol. I was like, do you know what it looks like to us? It looks like they are having their slave concubines welcome him. Which is something Sultans did—like, never. Anyway, a bunch of other Muslims from all over the world were saying similar things. Then one Western person was like, “Well, isn’t that how all war heroes were welcomed after returning home victorious?” I was like, what the ****? What victory did Trump win? And the answer is 'no.' That is not how war heroes were welcomed home in Islamic empires. LMAO—maybe in their own harem! I mean, who knows? But for sure not out in public!

I am starting "Road Side Picnic " audiobook , on English good narrator . Is it good ? What can you recommend of Russian novels after WW2 or newer that can be find in audio format . Guy who wrote introduction for Road Side Picnic (American writer) English version said how it is strange that Russian writers don't write ideologically while "we from liberal democracies can't escape ideology " . He said that Russian writers write like a free men even in Soviet era.

These foreigners are not privileged at all, though. That's a strange thing to say. I'd say that they are having it much worse than the regular Russian soldiers. Sure we can, but 95% of them will refuse because they don't want/can't speak English.

Can RWA interview à réal Russian soldier? Not foreign volunteer or whatever but a real regular normal standard real army soldier? That would be cool. We never hear the voices of the super average soldier, only privileged foreigners
