Full Body Tifa Hyper HD Model and Textures Mod WIP
🕑 Added 2023-03-09 13:43:50 +0000 UTCI realized a better way to preserve the original Tifa's model and textures and reverse the normal textures into a heightmap. From this I'll be able better conform the subdivided mesh to what the textures are trying to convey (like her muscles and bellybutton), and also bake 8K normal maps from for higher detail. Also from this I'll be able to update my other Tifa mods to have higher res models and textures as well. There's still a bit more work to do to finalize this however.
After completing this, I'm also interested in how much this method would carry over into making Tifa's full clothing and armor also much higher resolution.

Yeah, so I played with it for awhile in different levels, the issue definitely looks fixed for me on my end. I increased the FOV to create more distance too and it still looks good, no lines.
I can't get the lines to appear anymore with the V7.0.1 test file. I'll continue playing with it, but the issue looks fixed for me.
I run the game at 1080p if it makes a difference and some quick screenshots https://imgur.com/a/A0UiAip I removed all mods prior to taking these screenshots so it is just the V7 mod.

Are you able to post a screenshot of the issue?? Either here or on the bug submission section of NexusMods: https://www.nexusmods.com/finalfantasy7remake/mods/661?tab=bugs I haven't seen the issue myself yet so I'm not sure what it could be, but I'll look into it if I can see it visually.
Hi, I love your work and I like that you made Tifa unshaved again in V7 but I had a question. Those lines on the torso of the middle model appear as grey lines in the final mod. The lines appear when the camera is not zoomed close into Tifa (so the lines are present most of the time during gameplay). Some nexus comments mention the lines too. Can that be fixed or is that just a limitation of the mod?

There will be modeled anatomically correct vagina and labia yes.
