U.I. Stuff

I receive constant criticism about that stuff (much of it warranted) and figured if you had any grievances, ideas, or just want to tell me I suck, this would be the place.
Place your words in the comment suggestion below and the best ones I'll probably at least attempt to implement when I find the free time in my busy schedule.

It does the exact opposite of that. You have to make *extra* clicks to close categories when you're done with them rather than just click on the next category. With multiple categories open, it isn't easy to tell which ones are open (that at least could be fixed by making the buttons highlighted when open, but it would just be papering over a bad design), and if there are many items available they just blur together into a mass. A basic principle of design is not to have too many things visible at any one time. 'I want socks, I click socks', is *so* much easier than 'I want socks, are socks open? I'll click socks. Oops, socks were already open, I just closed them. Click again to reopen them. Then click on the other categories to close them so I can see the socks clearly'.

That's to cut down on clicking and make things easier for some users. Or that's the goal at least.

My biggest UI complaint is the wardrobe, it feels like clicking a category should show you that category, but it doesn't work like that, it *toggles* that category instead.
