It's already been said, but good on ya. I thought it was quite kind of you to consider refunds in the first place--didn't even know it was a thing till I saw your earlier post. I don't know anyone else who would do that.

Has people already forget patreon is a a donation to your favourite creator it's not a a place for refunds all the scammers I had a feeling this was going to happen one day good luck fighting it

Every customer is responsible for their own expenses. If you can't afford it, why did you buy it in the first place? Is it then the sellers responsibility that you can't handle your own finances?

I think this is the best thing to do for you. While I'm sure most refunds requests are scams, those that are genuine need to take responsibility for their own finances. As I commented on the last post, I find it sweet you care about your Patrons enough to consider giving refunds. But in the end they're (Hopefully) all adults, and their finance problems are theirs, not yours. And as a side note, hope you're doing okay with the Depression. having finally started on meds for mine, I've honestly never felt better about my life. Thanks for all the great content Fawn.

You have every right to refuse refunds 👍I find it bizarre that people would actually ask for a refund tbh. I think it's just to get your attention if anything, which is kinda sad.

Yeah, that's pretty F'd up on their part. You're 100% in the right to not give a refund to a scammer. Also, if anyone is being "rude and scummy", it's them for trying to scam you.

You're making the right call Fawn. At a certain point, people need to be responsible for their decisions, and you have your own things to deal with. This is fair for everyone in the end. Hope you get back to doing what you do best.
