The struggle and digestions scenes I'm planning to make last a around 30 seconds before twilight dies down and starts digesting.

Sorry to say but that is just a limitation of the current models I have available to use. I've been prodding at making a more detailed mesh but that's still quite far from being ready. You simply can't make flexes that big so you have to use an additional model. it's never going to look quite right but I do hope the new mesh will help with realism. Do bare in mind, SFM cannot emulate physics so you'll never get tight skin like effects from the stomachs. Just one of the few limitations of SFM really
