What types of stories do you like?

Raw sex stroke stories with no backstory have their place, as does War & Peace - the latter as a small arms backstop or doorjam, dislike that book strongly. So I have to take the definitive "it depends" position - if the story works, if it's fun and engaging and keeps my interest, I like it. It really varies wildly, I fear - I guess I'm eclectic, which is polite-terminology for bullheaded and opinionated.
