🕑 Added 2016-06-14 10:34:38 +0000 UTC in which things get spoopy....So, I haven't really mentioned it to the wider world but I'm going to be on vacation for a week. This is the first vacation in MANY years where I'm actually gonna go somewhere. And stay in a new bed. And eat new food. And maybe even meet new people. I'm actually kind of dreading it. I hate these kinds of trips because they can feel like a disruption to the calm and orderly regular business of life that I like. But at the same time... everyone's been saying I need it. I don't know how much it'll help but if anything I'd love to know what kind of food I should get in South Carolina.

Grits have no taste. I think they are awful. I'm from NC but my family did not eat grits. BTW Calabash using NC a short drive up the coast.

Calabash? I'll have to keep that in mind! Shrimp and Rice sounds amazing to me. I'm not one for grits though I might need to try some authentic southern grits if I can get them around there.

Spoopy? Looks kind of spooky to me?

South Carolina? The coast? Seafood of course. Shrimp. And rice, if you really want to eat local. If you're around Myrtle Beach think about a trip to Calabash. If you are near Charleston, just ask the server for suggestions and you won't go wrong.
