Anyway, we were watching a really bad schlock exploitative 1980's fantasy movie called "Sorceress" and had a good time. It's cheap sexy stuff with some really badly written characters all over. There's some triggering material, as a 1980's fantasy movie was wont to do. But it sure had some outfits I'd like to draw sometime.
Anyway, I seem to have gotten a LOT of new Patrons in the past week. Welcome guys. I hope to send you some messages soon. Thank you for giving this patreon a shot. I’ve not read Edgar Rice Burroughs beyond Tarzan. So the Barsoom reference threw me. This genre of art I have heard called “Tits and Lizards.” I’ll admit I’m a fan. This sample is rendered beautifully.

I have a real weakness for the whole Barsoom aesthetic. It's sexy, elegant and has a primitive energy. I think I read somewhere that ERB had his characters naked as a way of showing how exposed skin wasn't some society-threatening danger.
