Got the jab (again)
🕑 Added 2021-11-23 20:07:21 +0000 UTCSorry for being a little late with new posts today and yesterday. Been focused on getting my covid vaccine booster. A little tired and achey but it's not so bad. It does however seem to be exacerbating my general malaise. I bet I could just go for some delivery and work a little quietly while I relax. Thanks for your patience everyone.

I figure, like the flu shot, a booster is a good idea. I get a flu shot booster every year and covid is fairly similar. The thing evolves, changes, and we just adapt with a little assistance from science.

Wouldn't dream of doing that. I got the flu vaccine like two months ago, before going to NYCC. I usually get a flu shot before going to a major con and this was a good idea again.

Whatever you do don't get the booster at the same time as the flu vaccine. Not the most pleasant day of my life. But amen. Booster for the win!
Are you sure Colette was getting a jab, and that the medics weren't just taking blood samples that they can use to scare viruses away with?

I'm not sold on the efficacy of the boosters, but I'll probably get one eventually. (Also I have a moderate fear of needles so I would put it off regardless.)

My experience was the side effects/reactions was generally half when it was the booster shot.

Ha, my gf and I actually got ours yesterday! Trying to fight off the side effects to be productive today but I'm not sure it's happening. / w\ chills are gone which is nice, but I'm still sore and sluggish.
