Interesting enough I think Cass herself could have a soft spot for this kind of bdsm in a friendly context, despite that you usually context it as being at the hand of a villain in a peril situation. Bdsm takes trust, and granting that trust can be cathartic. The process of silently applying bondage, with Cass reading all the intention and reading the person taking all the care needed to figure out all the little tailoring processes of it focused in her could be very intimate for her.
