Not a good movie, but I will say the art direction and some of the concepts were cool. There isn't a lot of crazy science fiction in big budget movies anymore. What there was, has been replaced by super heroes. Occasionally we'll get an Interstellar, but apparently the only big budget space science fiction movies people will make a bet on have to be based on Aliens. To that end, I'm actually hoping at least one of the five billion Avatar movies will be any good.
Wait, I should actually talk about this drawing. Uhh.... I like it cause it's really tight and shows off their butt. I actually started drawing this cause I just wanted to draw a face in profile facing away from the camera. And then I just let my pencil dictate the rest of the drawing from there. And it became a tight space suit.

Gunwild bought me a copy of Rocket Girls... I should read it at some point....

Ah, reminds me of the sort of skin suits that are featured in the short novel series and anime “Rocket Girls!” But they had reason to have such skintight designs to save weight as much as possible because of payload limitations of their launch vehicles.

You are predicting the future! Compression space suits are what nasa is currently working on instead of the big bulky ones. The reason is NOT 'it makes her ass look good' but it's a delightful bonus.
