Shipping and Handling
🕑 Added 2020-09-14 10:01:00 +0000 UTCI'm trying to think up more character designs for the whole, "Shipping Factory Kink Pic Set" idea. I think a some parts of these are pretty close to what I'm looking for but I wouldn't mind hearing thoughts on the matter. I think they look a somewhat generic but that could be a function of having "realistic" gear for the most part. I still think they're each cute in their own way but it's worth going over what goals I have in mind for the set.
The "plot" is that it's the sole human worker in a factory, that gets in a bit of trouble. So it's maybe a dangerous job but the end results are cute rather than the kinds of things you sue for damages over. The machines shouldn't look too futuristic. So I think spider legs and robots that look human are out of the question. Ideally, I think part of the fun would be grounding the machines with modern realistic parts. I'm possibly the only person that would find that interesting, but the idea is to make the set for my own enjoyment and really quickly.
Now with that in mind, I think the first outfit here has a lot of what I'm looking for. She's got a full jumpsuit and a helmet and goggles for the factory floor. She's got a lifting brace on but I admit, I just kinda like that it looks sorta like a corset. But she could be doing some heavy maintenance in that outfit on her own, and it'd be good not to throw her back out!
Outfit two follows some of the same ideas, though with a lot more exposed skin, it could be dangerous if sparks start flying everywhere. At the same time, it's less likely any piece of clothing would get caught and torn off. And that would be bad... I think?
Three is kinda out of the question for the moment. While I love form fitting suits and they fit a science fiction theme, I think I what would make this set unique is the adherence to modern safety standards!
Four, I think she actually looks more like a forman. She has kneepads on but she looks less like the one to be doing any actual heavy lifting on her own. That said, it would be appropriate for her to be assigning tasks to robots and making sure everything is in proper working order.
Well... anyway this is the sort of taking forever to think up designs and stuff that keeps me from ever actually finishing a project. Lets see if we can change that sometime.

I'm thinking she should actually have her ears open. She's wearing induction headphones but she needs spatial awareness. In a loud section, she'll probably have to wear headphones of some sort.

Call me crazy, but I think I like 3 actually. Though they all have their charms for sure.

If there's a chance of getting wet, the tie up tights from one, or the formfitting of 3 would be acceptable. And the ponytail would probably have to go/be tied up very short and tight. Thats a no go in the wood workshop I go. Way to much chance to get caught in the moving parts. Kinda looks like 4 has overear protectors, that's a pretty common item.

It also can depend on what the "sole human"s job actually is? Is she a common shop floor worker, some kind of supervisor, inspector, janitor, or what?

I like 1 the best too because of its practicality and cuteness. I don't know, 2 looks more like an Adventurer and 4 looks like a bike messenger, and I agree that 3 doesn't really fit in with the idea.

i cant choose really. they could just be different looks for different occasions. the first being her normal work look. the second could be a bit more casual maybe shes not going to be doing repairs and is just checking files and logs. the forth could be her when shes off work and getting changed to go home. the tiered is when she inevitably ends up being deemed as inefficient and the machines give her upgrades to fix that. but there are all fantastic and i simple cant choose one

I vote for 2. Having been in shipping and receiving, you get hot unloading a truck. It could be 40 below outside, but you're burning up tossing boxes around. And moving from trailer to trailer. Expect the knee pads and boots to get a lot of use moving boxes and stopping things from falling ALL the way to the floor.

I like 1 for the helmet and body covering, but I also like the aesthetic of 3.

Something to think about when designing her gear is the environment itself. What is being produced in the factory? If there is a lot of metal work being done, then sparks might be an issue, but so is grease and oil. Also, most factories that I've been in range from warm to extremely hot in temperature, so too many layers worn at the same time and she might roast. I like the concept so far though! :D

I'd vote for 1, then 4 as well. 1 seems like the most practical, but I'm a sucker for leotards riding high on the hips so 4 is tempting.

1 is great, but I also like 3 as it is the most "sci-fi" looking

I agree with Space Robot. The first suit would be something practical for a work area where alot of the bots look to be about waits height (pants acting as protection from abrasions from bumping into any machines on accident. But 4 is a good runner up, like if the work area is generally warm giving the machines and equipment running about. Guess for a fi al option would be based on how the setting of the factory.
