Good Hair
🕑 Added 2021-09-25 10:01:01 +0000 UTCI'd been meaning to really improve my methods for drawing or painting natural black hair. It might not be something you think about when you see drawings of African American characters but kinky hair is completely different than others kinds. Even curly hair isn't rendered quite the same way.
To help out, I've bought some brushes for Clip Studio paint. It helps get the texture right, which has been where I've cheaped out before.
For Goldie here, I like how she looks and her dreads looked pretty cool. But I still think it can be improved. It'll take some practice and trial and error, but I could probably use some other helpful tips for it, by artists who have done it better.
