Ah, this is the reason I love CD-I "Wand of Gamelon" Zelda; that girl is psycho. For instance: She kills Gibdo with a shroud that appears to be eating or grinding him up. She then wears this corpsegrinder shroud as a cloak. She responds to Hektan's "You've killed me!" with a smirking "GOOD!". Duke Onkled begs to not be hurt and that he'll tell her what she needs to know. How does the Princess Regent of Hyrule accept her enemy's complete surrender and cooperation? By unsheathing her sword and telling him to talk fast. She rescues Link entirely accidentally while violently destroying the property of a girl she's envious of. If one rewatches the opening cutscene with that in mind, stuff like not wanting her father to help in the fight against Ganon and waking old people in the middle of the night seems less like concern and more like she's just a terrible person who wants others to suffer.
