I think I'm going to call the "Dog Isekai Elf" Sorah. This is an old name I used elsewhere, but it kinda fits her and gives me a lot of interesting ideas to build off of. Maybe I'll tell you more about it later. One fun thing I've thought up is that Sorah here is just VERY GOOD at snagging weapons within arms reach. She doesn't quite have any qualms about appropriating anything she can grab if it'll suit her purposes. Like the big two-handed sword that would help her resolve a disagreement.
Dog Isekai has been coming up in my head lately. One, I still like the dog, and the idea, and the setting. Two, I've been kinda watching some happy pet videos on YouTube. Three, it's still a pretty popular idea outside of my usual fans. I wouldn't mind having something that lots of people like, as long as I can still find the things about it that I want to do. And one of those things might be hard fantasy violence.
